    Almost a triplicate

    I almost had a triplicate sunday night :(.   Wife wouldnt show me my first 2 scores (I thought I was going for my first 600....little did I know I was going for a triplicate.....  missed it by 8 pins :(

    I have been bolwing mid-500 series most of the season, which is good for me. I have flirted with a 600 series twice this season).

    Our team on sunday for the 2nd half is finally in 1st place (we play the 2nd place team sunday, could be fun since my best friends dad (and more or less my 2nd dad, and now by marriage who I am in a round about way related to...life is wierd that way).

    4 weeks left...I think we can hold 1st or 2nd till the end and face the 1st half champions for the championship).

    you'll get there just don't look at the score and go frame by frame.

    The 600's will come. Just concentrate on your bowling and don't pay attention to what you have on the board and it will come.

    Thanks guys! on saturday I got my highest game ever! a 231! Strung 6 straight strikes and then opened the next 2 frames (missed the spares by a hair) and then struck 2 times and then 9-spared out :) finished with a 555 series for the night.sunday night was different story...mid 400...I was thinking about my 231 too much (the wife said not to think about it and that has ALWAYS been my downfall.... I alsways think I can do the same or better and then when I dont I get a little upset at myself and try too hard.

    We are still in 1st on sunday and proablay in 3rd on saturday for the 2nd half (I dont see us gettiing 1st on saturady (too many points between us and1st and too short of time left....will take 4th out of 23 anyday :)
